This clinic will provide an overview of the neurosurgeon's approach to patients with peripheral nerve disorders.

Learning Objectives: After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the indications, timing and the types of surgical intervention to treat peripheral nerve injuries and entrapment.
  • Discuss the anatomy, clinical presentation and management of the most common entrapments in the upper and lower extremities.
  • Discuss the indications and surgical management of benign and malignant peripheral nerve tumors.
  • Review the management of peripheral nerve cases.
