This course provides participants with an exposure to the current status of global neurosurgery, including organizations focused on increasing neurosurgical education throughout the world. The course includes a detailed explanation of the similarities and differences in neurosurgical training on five continents. An emphasis is placed on the opportunities for collaboration in improving global neurosurgery education and training.
Learning Objectives: After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize similarities and differences in neurosurgical training.
- Analyze the opportunities to participate in global education.
- Discuss various ways to get involved in global neurosurgical education.
