This 90-minute session will review important technical nuances for improving patient outcomes during microsurgery. Detailed surgical videos of different procedures will be reviewed using 3-D high definition videos to maximize the learning experience for the viewers. Importantly, innovative 3-D computerized graphic models will be presented to augment the learning experience.
Learning Objectives: After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the indications for surgical treatment of complex cranial cases.
- Illustrate the general techniques for microsurgical procedures.
- Identify the operative nuances to advance patient safety during challenging intraoperative moments.
